I went there at 10AM for the registration. It was okay that I got a chance to interact with teachers from different ethnicity. I can relate to communication theory (specifically interpersonal communication)in which I'm not only interact with few teachers but they are nice people as well.
I went this morning with four of my colleagues at 9:30am. We went ahead and joined other teachers register for the PIBBA conference. We noticed that the PIBBA conference will start at 4:00pm. Relating this to Gardner's theory of learning,interpersonal intelligence is what I learned today.
I went there at 9:30AM for the registration. I got surprised when I heard that the program will start at 4:00PM. So I just finished the register and went back to COM. I cannot attend the opening ceremony because I have class at 3:30PM wit DR.Ferrer.
Everything went well this morning at Nett School. I met many teachers and most of them looked familiar, especially those teachers from Pohnpei. Since today is the first day of the Pibba International Conference, I just asked other teachers that I knew the informations about the registration step and did as they told me to do. After the registration they told me that the opening ceremony will be held at 4:00PM then I got back on the bus and leave. Anyways,I really enjoy interacting with the teachers that I met there this morning.
Today, I was surprise seeing only five of us on the bus at 9:30. It makes me feel even more nervous seeing just a few of us. Then when we reach/arrive at Nett, we see a lot of cars and a lot of teachers who seems familiar. While waiting under the sun and talking, our teacher came and talk to us which makes me feel much better because it was my first time to join Pibba conference along with other teachers. In addition to that,as we were waiting in line, two of our classmates (now teachers) came and greet us and we did the same. One of them works there so we ask him questions regarding the Pibba conference and we realize that its starting at 4:00. Thats the sad thing because I have class at 3:30 so I won`t be there when it starts. So I finish up my registration and went back into the bus. To conclude, I see a lot of different behaviors today that relates to my topic behavior modification. If I had to give examples, it will take up a lot of space. Kalangan and I think this is all I have to say about this wonderful experience I had today.

Today the sessions begin and I will be there listening/participating in the different sessions to see how I could use those presentation in school/teaching.

Unfortunately, I just stayed until the ceremony started then I had to leave early because we live so far away so we had to leave early. We were not able to get any bags because they say that they ran out of bags.
I went to the PIBBA conference site in Nett Elementary School with some of my classmates at 12:30 yesterday. I can observe that the organization committee were not doing a great job in organizing the conference. Some of the teachers that are attending summer school at COM are able to register without paying $5.00 but us the teachers that are attending your class will have to paid for the registration fee.I did not register so I came back to COM to work on my plan for teaching the students in my community.

I went to Register too but I can not because Carlina Henry told me that all teachers attending COM are not suppose to come to the PIBBA confrence without her not understanding my situation so I left to COM to do my work for our class. WHAT A DAY!!!...The bus was full and left early leaving some of your students here at COM, but we had to be at the PIBBA Site for registration.I had to pay $5 dollar but "NO WAY"...I just signed my name and left the site. I was there at the ceremony, It was BORING!!!
June 25, 2012 PIBBA CONFERENCE 2012 DAY 1 The 31st PIBBA CONFERENCE took place at Nett Elementary School. The first event that took place was registration. During the registration all the participants got their packages which contain all the events that will be taking place during this 5 days conference. The opening ceremony of this important conference continued at 4:30 in the afternoon. Pohnpei PIBBA chapter president presented welcoming remarks to all of the participants at this conference. This welcoming remarks was generally saying that preservation is the islands' calling cards. We need to preserve our language and culture because it is our identity. The key note speaker for this important day was Dr. Mauricio from Pohnpei. In short the keynote speaker was mainly concern about the two simple questions which are: 1) why do I sometimes feel strange in my home land? 2) Who am I? The final speech was made by his Excellency Iso Nahnken of Nett. All the participants had chances to have dinner together which was followed by entertainment from PDOE choir and other entities.
I went to Nett School at 1:30 p.m only Monroe David was doing the registration. I added my name to a list of teachers names and left because I can not pick up my name tag. I went back and registered at 3:00 p.m.

I though I already posted my comment yesterday, but then now it's not here. Anyways, yesterday I was prepared for the first day of the PIBBA Conference held at Nett Elementary School. I was hoping to go down to the place and started to gather information and learn a lot of new things,yet we only went there to register. The conference will start at 4:00 PM.Unfortunately I had to come back to the campus because I still had one more class at 3:30 PM. Therefore, I only went down in the after noon registered, there were only few people there. I only saw chairs already set and everything.
Last Monday, I went to Nett Elementary School around 12:30 looking forward to gain some new theories and techniques that could be of special use for future purposes. Sadly, I only had the chance to register and rush back to COM for my other class (Fine Arts) at 3:30. Redundancy are my ideas.
Excuse the very late delay of my post...due to well, not knowing how to post in the first place. So on this day I was prepared for the conference, not knowing it was not to begin till the next day. So all I did was paid the fee and register for the PIBBA conference.
